Kyle began his rowing career in high school at Guilford High School in Connecticut, before continuing all four years at UVM, medaling at NERC with several ACRA finals appearances. He has been involved with rowing for 10 years, graduating with a degree in psychology from UVM in 2019, and is currently a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Social Work. He takes great pride in teaching and coaching, working with individuals with special needs and autism in both health care and educational settings in his professional life. During time off the water, Kyle teaches martial arts and competes nationally in board and brick breaking competitions, and values the similarities the two sports share when coaching collegiate athletes.
